As if the only way to survive an eventual world collapse was to take a trio of Piano, Bass and Drums, on a raft across the sea, this record begins. Not just any raft, a raft inspired by words of revolt, made of stone, made of a country without borders, just sea, without nations, just sounds.
Shy waves struck by a tide; a brief wind, the first step of the journey; a sudden storm that does not wait. The trio is put to the test of the passage of time and the ferocity of a storm. It's that resistance they bring that reassures everyone that everything can be okay. Or not.
Stone Raft brings with it the story of many journeys, many ways of living, many trios, thrown into an uncertain sea, sure of not knowing everything and carrying the world's dreams with them (even when the world doesn't know that it dreams them).
They gently use metaphor and Saramago to create a disconnected narrative, in the form of sound, with landscapes of vertigo, thunderstorms, fever, disobedience, discovery and a lot of thirst.
A complicity of travelers unites the bass of Francisco Morato, the piano of José Brandão and the drums of Aleksandar Škorić, it is the feather that paints this screen of sound, the voices of a dialogue that is simultaneously insecure and confident, classic and new at every second. .. Shadow of what once was... Living color of what is yet to come.

Como se a única forma de sobreviver a um eventual colapso mundial fosse levar um trio de Piano, Baixo e Bateria, numa jangada pelo mar, começa este disco. Não uma jangada qualquer, uma jangada inspirada em palavras de revolta, feita de pedra, feita de um país sem fronteiras, apenas mar, sem nações, apenas sons.
Tímida ondas percutidas de uma maré; um breve vento, primeiro passo da viagem; uma súbita tempestade que não espera. O trio é submetido ao teste da passagem do tempo e à ferocidade de uma tempestade. É essa resistência que trazem, que assegura todos de que tudo pode ficar bem. Ou não.
Stone Raft traz consigo a história de muitas viagens, muitas formas de viver, muitos trios, lançados a um mar incerto, seguros de não saber tudo e carregar consigo os sonhos do mundo (mesmo quando o mundo não sabe que os sonha).
Usam gentilmente a metáfora e Saramago para criar uma narrativa desconexa, em forma de som, com paisagens de vertigem, trovoada, febre, desobediência, descoberta e muita sede.
Uma cumplicidade de viajantes une o baixo de Francisco Morato, o piano de José Brandão e a bateria de Aleksandar Škorić, é a pena que pinta esta tela de som, as vozes de um diálogo simultaneamente inseguro e confiante, clássico e novo a cada segundo... Sombra do que já foi... Cor viva do que ai vem.
