You, me, the drums, and the saxophone.
The duo that dialogues. You and I who listen attentively to freedom and restraint.
Free Speech evokes freedom of expression. The confrontation, the agreement, the common thread, the controlled chaos. This is the place you and I are going to travel. This is where they traced our trip.
João Sousa and José Lencastre created a coherence of speech that hardly one of us will be able to break. We enter a place that evokes fracturing subjects such as destruction and death.
Before freedom, we have the revolution (which has nothing linear). It's bittersweet. We continue: you and me. We are the audience of a world in which freedom is ambiguous depending on the reality of each one of us. A record where the revolution is long until it comes to a short freedom.
Freedom is like a short loop. So short that leads us to Cabo Delgado and Marielle, in the relentless search for a quiet moment.
The journey between drums and saxophone intensifies. You and I: continue to breathe. We are free.
We have the freedom to feel. You and me.
With the voices of João and José we seek free speech.

O duo que dialoga. Tu e eu que ouvimos atentamente a liberdade e a contenção.
Free Speech evoca a liberdade de expressão. O confronto, a concordância, o fio condutor, o caos controlado. É por aqui que tu e eu vamos viajar. É por aqui que eles traçaram a nossa viagem.
João Sousa e José Lencastre criaram uma coerência de discurso que dificilmente um de nós conseguirá quebrar. É nesse quebrar que entramos quando as faixas evocam temáticas fraturantes como a destruição e a morte.
Antes da liberdade, a revolução (que de linear não tem nada). É agridoce. Continuamos tu e eu. Espectadores de um mundo em que a liberdade é um conceito ambíguo consoante a realidade de cada um. Um disco em que a revolução é longa até chegar à curta liberdade.
A liberdade parece-nos, logo a seguir, um loop curto. Tão curto que nos conduz até Cabo Delgado e Marielle, na procura incessante de um momento apaziguador.
A viagem entre bateria e sopro intensifica-se. Tu e eu continuamos a respirar. Somos livres.
Temos a liberdade de sentir. Tu e eu.
Com as vozes do João e do José procuramos a liberdade de expressão.
